What happens when I delete a workspace?

Workspaces are soft deleted. The data in a workspace will no longer be accessible, but it still exists.

Can I create multiple workspaces with the same name?

No, each workspace must have a unique name. However, you can delete a workspace and create a new one with the same name.

What kinds of data can be stored in a workspace?

Workspaces provide an easy way to group, manage, and access your data. For storing geoscience data, use the Geoscience Object API. For storing general or unstructured data, use the File API.

Can admin users delete or update workspaces?

Admin users can view all workspaces within their organization, but they can't make changes to a workspace until they have either an editor or an owner role within the workspace.

How do I become an admin user?

Admin privileges can be granted through the portal by an existing Evo admin or Evo owner. You can find an Evo admin or Evo owner for any instance you have access to in the user list.
