Which file types are supported by File API?

All files types are supported by the Files API. However, it is best practice not to upload executable files. These include Windows exe and com files, and Apple app files.

What is the file size limit?

There is no limit on the size of files that can be uploaded to the File API. However, during long uploads the authentication token (SAAS token) may expire. This requires another request to the authentication endpoint to refresh the SAAS token to continue uploading.

Why can't I see my file as soon as I have uploaded it?

The file will be visible as soon as it is ready. There may be a delay of up to 5 seconds between an upload finishing and a file being visible. If there is a delay significantly longer than this, please reach out to Seequent support.

How long do my blob storage URLs last for?

Pre-signed blob storage URLs (for upload or download) are valid for 30 minutes.
