Configuration properties for pole-pole electrode arrangements in resistivity-IP surveys. In a pole-pole array, both a current electrode and a potential electrode are placed at large distances ("infinity"), leaving one current and one potential electrode as the active pair. This configuration provides the deepest penetration but the lowest spatial resolution.
